The government’s recent call to drop requirements for sprinklers to be installed in all new school buildings is short-sighted and compromises the safety of pupils, staff and fire-fighters. We call upon the government to reverse this dangerous decision, so lives aren’t put at risk and our children’s education isn’t needlessly disrupted.
