It was a pleasure to meet up with Young Builder UK finalist and St-Eds student Alfie in parliament earlier today.

Alfie has made some big achievements in the field of building, despite having to overcome a number of challenges and difficult circumstances in his life so far. As well as being a YBUK finalist, he’s previously been awarded Carters Young Builder of the year. Now he’s been offered an apprenticeship by Carters.

I wish Alfie all the best of luck in the YBUK final, and in general in his future career and life.
