A four-day week is likely to benefit our society in a number of ways: from improving our mental health and wellbeing, to supporting the economy (due to increased productivity) and helping to tackle the climate crisis (with less workers commuting by car every day).

The Covid-19 pandemic is likely to have some serious economic consequences, and has already seen many people have to rethink how they work. A four-day week could form a key part of restructuring the economy so no-one’s left behind coming out of this crisis, and would help make nsure work is shared more equally.
