Councils like Norwich City Council should be the engines of the ‘levelling up’ agenda. But while the Tories promise levelling up, a decade of cuts has left our vital services levelled. So today I asked the Government to stop fobbing us off, and to commit to a long-term, sustainable funding settlement for local government.
