On International Vyshyvanka Day, I showed solidarity with Ukrainians fighting against the Russian invasion.

Vyshyvanka day is a holiday that seeks to preserve the Ukrainian folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered clothes, known in Ukraine as “vyshyvanka”.

The Ukraine Solidarity Campaign made it possible for myself, Nadia Whittome MP and Sam Tarry MP to show our solidarity by wearing our very own Vyshyvanka!

I was very proud to show my support and to send a message to Ukrainians that they are not alone in their fight.
