I have been featured in the Norwich Evening News following my letter to the Home Secretary asking him to reconsider proposals to further restrict international students. 

The article goes on to reference my letter, where I said the following:

“Any further restrictions could lead to severe consequences for higher education institutions in Norwich, and for economic stability across the country”.

My calls have been backed by the University of East Anglia, who are reliant on international students. Further restrictions on these students could be devastating for vital institutions like the UEA.

I will continue to monitor this situation closely and represent the institutions that play an important role in Norwich.
