Clive Lewis For Norwich South
Last year, many worried constituents contacted me about the news that their local pharmacy on Bluebell Road was closing. I launched a campaign to save the pharmacy from closure, and wrote to NHS England urging them to reconsider the closure.
Today we have news that the pharmacy will reopen under a new independent pharmacist. This will be a huge relief to the UEA and the surrounding community. I’m delighted that this essential service will be restored.
It’s also fitting that it’s come about after campaigns which brought together people both on and off campus. Well done to all those involved!
