I met with the remarkable Norfolk-based charity Sue Lambert Trust (SLT), which provides crucial support to individuals who have experienced sexual abuse or violence. Anyone in need can self-refer to access their services. They offer a broad spectrum of help, from therapy and counselling to support groups.

I heard about their latest campaign, ‘More Room to Care’. This initiative addresses the growing demand for support in Norfolk. However, SLT requires more funding to hire more specialist staff to meet rising demand.

There’s a long waiting list for professional help, and SLT hopes ‘More Room to Care’ will double its capacity.
